Volume 2 of the TRUFFLE SHUFFLE will star Chef Mal Meiers and Sommelier Kate Christensen from Australia. In 2015 Mal and Kate created their own pop up dining experience concept: Food + Wine Pop Up, which showcases their personal and professional philosophies of the celebration of sense of place and the emphasis of seasonal and local food and wine. After hugely successful pop-ups in Australia over the last two years, their current ‘pop up tour’ has seen them venture to Europe and take over such places as Chardon restaurant in Arles, Carousel in London, Le 203 in Brussels, Le Pic Saint Loup restaurant in Montpellier, Jeanne wine bar in Antibes and Casa Mae in Lagos, Portugal. The last stop for this dynamic couple before their return to Australia is Tokyo to create a unique truffle omakase with special alcohol pairings at OUT.
